Tomorrow

Oh, hello tomorrow, I wish I would've known that you were going to be so cold. I wish I could've known so I could plan better. Plan what I wear, plan what i do, plan who I see, plan where I go. I wish I would've known that you were going to look so dark and feel so cold.
Hello tomorrow, if only I knew the air would smell like rain and my agenda would still have to go on. You see tomorrow, I know how bright and full of life you are... So, thank you tomorrow for showing up today and thank you tomorrow for letting me see you even though you look as gloomy as my heart felt yesterday.
So tomorrow, I'm going to try to be your sunshine today. Maybe not for the world but for the people that see me. I will try to be the light in their world today, hoping to make it someone's "good day" and maybe tomorrow you'll feel like your bright, sunny, pleasant, inviting self. God willing, I'll see you tomorrow.
